I do not like to have to scroll down to the end of the list to read the latest post.

I have already read the oldest post.

Please list the most recent posts at the top of the list.

No way! Topic list should be newest (or most recent thread replied to) first, but the threads themselves should read from oldest to newest. Show me another forum that lists posts in a thread as newest first. In all of my experience using forums (pretty extensive) I've never seen this before.
